Daveed Daniele Diggs is an American actor, rapper, and singer-songwriter, known for originating the dual roles of Marquis de Lafayette and Thomas Jefferson in the musical Hamilton, for which he won a 2016 Tony Award and a Grammy Award. He has since appeared in films like Wonder and Velvet Buzzsaw, and starred in the television series Black-ish and the adaptation of Snowpiercer. Diggs also wrote and starred in the 2018 film Blindspotting, earning a nomination for the Independent Spirit Award.
