Biography

Michael Evan Mann is a renowned climatologist and geophysicist, who pioneered techniques to uncover patterns in past climate change. His 1998 paper, co-authored with Raymond S. Bradley and Malcolm K. Hughes, used advanced statistical methods to reconstruct a hemispherical climate record spanning 600 years. He also contributed to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change's Third Scientific Assessment Report in 2001.
