Bill Nye: Science Guy

Bill Nye: Science Guy is a 2017 American biographical documentary film that follows Bill Nye's personal life and career comeback as he retires his kid show act to become more like his late professor Carl Sagan. As the CEO of The Planetary Society, Nye sets out to accomplish Sagan's dream of putting a solar sail into space, while also reaching out to a wider audience using his trademark enthusiasm for science advocacy and education. He is joined by fellow scientists Neil deGrasse Tyson, Ann Druyan, Heather Berlin, and others as they challenge him to defend the scientific consensus on evolution and climate change against contrarians like Ken Ham and Joe Bastardi.
