Bob Barker

Biography

Robert William Barker was a renowned American television game show host and animal rights advocate. He hosted CBS's The Price Is Right from 1972 to 2007, the longest-running daytime game show in North American television history. Before that, he hosted Truth or Consequences from 1956 to 1975. Barker was also an advocate for animal welfare, supporting groups such as the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society and People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.
