Happy Gilmore

Happy Gilmore, a short-tempered aspiring hockey player, discovers an unknown ability for long shots in golf and seeks to raise enough money to prevent the foreclosure of his grandmother's house, Anna Gilmore (Frances Bay), by winning a PGA tournament. With the help of his caddy, Otto (Allen Covert), and coach, Derick "Chubbs" Peterson (Carl Weathers), Happy becomes a fan favorite due to his unusually long drives and unorthodox antics, but struggles with putting and etiquette. As he improves, he also catches the eye of tour public relations head Virginia Venit (Julie Bowen).
