Biography

José Fernando Tielve Asensao was born on July 21, 1986, in Madrid and began his acting career at a young age. He made his feature film debut in Guillermo del Toro's "The Devil's Backbone" as the lead role of Carlos, earning him an award for Best Young Actor in an International Film at the Young Artist Awards in 2002. Tielve also starred in Fernando Trueba's "The Shanghai Spell" and appeared in the TV series "El internado".
