Akihiro Kakuta is a Japanese comedian and actor born on December 13, 1973, in Tokyo, Japan. He rose to prominence as a member of the comedy trio Plus Driver and later the comedy duo Alpharpha, before transitioning to acting. Kakuta has appeared in notable works such as "Monster" (2023) and "The Blue Hearts" (2017), and has also worked with acclaimed director Hirokazu Kore-eda. He has won several awards, including the Best Supporting Actor award at the 18th Tokyo Drama Awards.
