Hako no naka no hitsuji

In the near future, architect Otone Komoto (Haruka Ayase) and her husband Kensuke (Daigo Yamamoto) welcome a simulated age seven humanoid robot (Kuwaki Rimu) into their home as their son, following the death of their son. The family's dynamics are put to the test as they navigate their grief and relationships. The film explores themes of artificial intelligence, husband wife relationship, mother daughter relationship, and grief.
