Kim Myung-gon is a South Korean actor and musician born on December 3, 1952. He is best known for his starring role in the 1993 film Seopyeonje, which earned him Best Actor at the Blue Dragon Film Awards. A seasoned performer, Kim has held various prestigious positions, including Minister of Culture and Tourism from 2006 to 2007 and president of the National Theater of Korea from 2000 to 2005. He is also a pansori performer and former instructor at Woosuk University.
