Biography

Michael Byers is a Northern Irish actor, best known for his portrayal of Liam in The Basil Brush Show. He graduated from the University of St Andrews and began his career with roles in Hollyoaks and The Mysti Show on CBBC. Byers also starred in the BBC One film Capturing Mary (2007), alongside Dame Maggie Smith, and appeared as Officer Lennox in two episodes of the Channel 4 teen sitcom Derry Girls in 2022.
