Lou Ferrigno is a renowned American actor and retired professional bodybuilder, born on November 9, 1951, in Brooklyn, New York. He won two consecutive IFBB Mr. Universe titles and appeared in the iconic documentary Pumping Iron (1977). Most notably, Ferrigno portrayed the title role in the CBS television series The Incredible Hulk (1977–1982), a character he reprised in subsequent animated and computer-generated incarnations.
