Dudley Knight

Biography

Dudley Knight was a renowned voice, speech, and dialect expert and stage and television actor, best known for his long career as a speech and dialect teacher and voice director for professional theatre. He taught at the University of California, Irvine, for 20 years, coaching voice, text, and dialects at various esteemed theatres. Knight was also a co-founder of Long Wharf Theatre in New Haven, Connecticut, and hosted the radio series "The Graveyard Shift" on KPFK, Los Angeles.
