Peter Cullen is a Canadian voice actor born on July 28, 1941, in Montreal to American parents Henry and Muriel McCann Cullen. He is best known for voicing Optimus Prime in the original 1980s Transformers animated series, later reprising the role in live-action films starting with 2007's Transformers. A veteran of various popular media franchises, Cullen has also voiced Eeyore in Winnie the Pooh and KARR in Knight Rider.
