John Getz is a character actor born on October 15, 1946, in Davenport, Iowa. He dropped out of college to attend the American Conservatory Theater and later co-founded a theater company in Napa Valley, which led to his television debut in the made-for-television horror film Killer Bees. Getz's notable career includes roles in films like Blood Simple, The Fly, and The Social Network, as well as appearances in numerous television series.
