Thief of Hearts

Thief of Hearts is a 1984 American erotic drama-thriller that tells the story of Scott Muller (Steven Bauer), a burglar who teams up with his friend Buddy Calamara (David Caruso) to rob the home of Mickey Davis (Barbara Williams), a rich married woman. After stealing her diary, Scott becomes infatuated with Mickey's fantasies and dreams, using them to seduce her into a passionate affair. As their relationship deepens, Mickey's husband Ray (John Getz) begins to suspect that something is amiss, leading to a dramatic confrontation that ultimately ends in violence.
