Hideki Saijo

Biography

Hideki Saijo was a Japanese singer, actor, and television celebrity, best known for his hit song "Young Man" (a Japanese cover of the Village People's "Y.M.C.A."). He was part of the influential "New Big Three" idol trio alongside Goro Noguchi and Hiromi Go in the 1970s. Saijo's on-stage energy and vocals dominated Japanese charts during this period, selling over 1.8 million copies of his single.
