Nashom Benjamin

Biography

Nashom Benjamin Wooden was a member of the electronic dance music group the Ones and performed as a drag queen under the stage name Mona Foot, hosting the weekly drag competition "Mona Foot's Star Search" at New York's Barracuda. He appeared in the comedy-drama film Flawless in 1999 and co-wrote the 2001 song "Flawless" with the Ones. Wooden was an HIV-positive advocate, and his drag persona Mona Foot gave his final performance in 2018.
