Biography

Alessandro Siani is an Italian actor, director, and stand-up comedian born on September 17, 1975, in Naples. After winning the "Charlot Prize" for best comedian in 1995, he adopted his stage name in honor of Giancarlo Siani, a journalist and camorra victim. He achieved success as a stand-up comedian with his 2004 show Fiesta and later broke out in 2010 with the box office hit Benvenuti al Sud.
