Biography

Ted Vollrath was an American war veteran, karate expert, and speaker who lost both legs in the Korean War at the age of 18. He went on to achieve notable milestones in the martial arts world, becoming the first wheelchair user to earn a black belt and founding Martial Arts for the Handicapable to teach disabled martial artists. Vollrath also acted in the 1978 film "Mr. No Legs".
