Marie Drahokoupilová

Biography

Marie Drahokoupilová, born in Prague in 1941, began her acting career in childhood, performing in a children's radio show and later a drama club. She studied at DAMU, where notable instructors guided her development, alongside fellow students including Miroslav Nohýnek and Václav Mareš. After graduating, she established a successful career in Prague's Libeň district theatre, before leaving for Vienna, Austria, where she worked as a freelancer for 13 years before returning home.
