Biography

Lisa Spoonauer was born in Rahway, New Jersey, and rose to fame for her role as Caitlin Bree in Kevin Smith's 1994 film Clerks. Her only other notable credit was reprising the role in the animated series Clerks: The Animated Series. After her acting career, she transitioned to a life of management, becoming a restaurant manager and event planner before tragically passing away at age 44 due to an accidental overdose in 2017.
