Clerks

A 1994 American independent black-and-white comedy film written, produced, co-edited and directed by Kevin Smith in his debut, presenting a day in the lives of two commercial employees who hate their jobs but need them, like any mortal. The film stars Brian O'Halloran and Jeff Anderson as Dante Hicks and Randal Graves, two sharp-witted, potty-mouthed and bored out-of-their-minds convenience store clerks who play hockey on the roof, visit a funeral home, deal with their love lives, and navigate the mundane routines of working in retail.
