Sam Claflin is an English actor born on June 27, 1986, in Ipswich, Suffolk. After graduating from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in 2009, he began his acting career on television and made his film debut as Philip Swift in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011). He gained recognition for playing Finnick Odair in The Hunger Games series and starring in romantic films Love, Rosie and Me Before You.
