Yuliya Peresild is a Russian stage actress and cosmonaut born on September 5, 1984, in Pskov, Russia. She led the Malaya Bronnaya Theatre and became the first professional actress to act in outer space during her October 2021 ISS mission, joining an elite group of women who have traveled into space. Prior to her spaceflight, Peresild gained recognition for her roles in films like "In the Fog" (2012) and "Petrov's Flu" (2021).
