Ken Campbell
Biography
Kenneth Campbell was a British theatre pioneer and actor known for his work in experimental theatre. He achieved notoriety in the 1970s with nine-hour adaptations of science-fiction trilogies and 22-hour stagings of surreal plays, including The Warp, which earned a record listing in the Guinness Book of Records. A genius at producing shows on a shoestring, Campbell honed improvisational capabilities and became a grand old man of fringe theatre, revered by peers as one of the most original talents of the past half-century.
