Danièle Delorme
Biography
Danièle Delorme was a French actress and film producer born on October 9, 1926, in Levallois-Perret to André Girard, a painter and theater-designer. She began her acting career at 14 and gained recognition for delicate roles, including her breakthrough in Miquette et sa mère (1949) and the title role in Gigi (1949 film). Delorme also collaborated with notable directors Marc Allégret, Julien Duvivier, and Yves Robert.
