She began her career at the prestigious Cours Simon drama school in Paris and went on to win two acting awards before landing notable roles in films like "Year of the Jellyfish" (1984) and "Didier" (1997). Her personal life was marked by a long relationship with actor Jean Poiret, whom she eventually married in 1989.
