A Pain in the Ass

In this darkly comedic tale, a hitman's carefully laid plans are turned upside down by his eccentric neighbor, a suicidal salesman struggling to cope with a recent divorce. As the hitman tries to complete his contract killing, he finds himself entangled in the neighbor's desperate attempts to avoid his own demise, leading to a series of hilarious and awkward encounters. Directed by Édouard Molinaro and starring Jacques Brel in his final film role, L'emmerdeur is a sidesplitting black comedy that explores the unexpected consequences of human misfortune.
