Biography

Jean-Pierre Darras was a French actor and director born in Paris in 1927. He began his career on the theatre stage, training at post-war dramatic centres and joining Jean Vilar's TNP, where he honed his classical repertoire skills. Darras later built a versatile career in film and television, known for his precise and ironic acting style, as well as his passion for Molière, which led to numerous productions and writings about the legendary playwright.
