Ellen Frank

Biography

Ellen Frank (1904–1999) was a German film and television actress who began her career as a dancer, performing in various theaters and cabarets before transitioning to acting. She made her debut on stage at the Volksbühne Berlin, playing roles such as Amalia in Die Räuber, and later appeared in several German films, often portraying confident young women alongside Heinz Rühmann. Frank retired from the public eye after marrying in 1939.
