Poon Hang-Sang
Biography
Hang-Sang Poon is a Hong Kong-Canadian filmmaker and actor recognized for his contributions to the Hong Kong film industry since the 1980s. He has been twice awarded the Best Cinematography title at both the Hong Kong Film Awards and Golden Horse Awards, including wins for "The Island" (1985) and "Center Stage" (1992). A two-time Oscar nominee, Poon was also selected as a Hong Kong representative to The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences board.
