Biography

Jameson Thomas was a British film actor born on March 24, 1888, in St George Hanover Square, London. He appeared in over 80 films between 1923 and 1939, including the acclaimed melodrama "Piccadilly" (1929) opposite Anna May Wong, and the comedy "It Happened One Night" (1934), where he played King Westley alongside Claudette Colbert. Thomas's career spanned both stage and screen in England and Hollywood before his untimely death from tuberculosis in 1939.
