Jun Tazaki
Biography
Jun Tazaki was a Japanese actor born Minoru Tanaka on August 28, 1913, who rose to fame for his roles in Toho's kaiju films. He gained popularity in the 1960s, often playing authority figures with moustaches, and became a favorite of director Ishirō Honda. Tazaki's most notable role was as Captain Hachiro Jinguji in Atragon (1963), where he portrayed an embittered World War II veteran.
