Tamlyn Tomita is a Japanese-American actress born on January 27, 1966, in Okinawa, who made her screen debut as Kumiko in The Karate Kid Part II and reprised the role for Cobra Kai. She is also known for her portrayal of Waverly in The Joy Luck Club, alongside a diverse filmography including Come See the Paradise and Four Rooms. Tomita has appeared on several TV series, including 24 and Berlin Station.
