The Eye

Sydney Wells (Jessica Alba), a successful classical violinist who has been blind since childhood, undergoes a cornea transplant and regains her sight. However, she also begins experiencing terrifying visions of fire and death, which initially frighten those around her. Sydney's determination to unravel the mystery of her new ability is aided by her visual therapist and fellow violinist, Paul Faulkner (Alessandro Nivola), who helps her in her quest. As Sydney delves deeper into her visions, she must confront an industrial accident that caused her corneal donor to see her death and find a way to save those from impending tragedy, ultimately leading her to return home as a blind violinist with renewed optimism.
