Andrés Soler was a renowned Mexican actor, considered an icon of the Golden Age of Mexican cinema. With over 200 film credits to his name, he received four Ariel Award nominations for Best Supporting Actor. Notable roles include Capulet in "Romeo y Julieta" (1943) and Le président Carlos Barreiro in "Fever Mounts at El Pao" (1959). Soler's career spanned a remarkable two hundred films before his untimely death at 70.
