Lew Gallo was a character actor with a storied career, best known for his roles as Maj. Joseph Cobb on the 1960s series Twelve O'Clock High and Yeoman Rogers in the 1963 film PT 109. Born in Mount Kisco, New York, Gallo served in the Army during the Korean War and later appeared in numerous TV shows and films, including Rawhide and Ocean's 11.
