Walter Kingsford

Biography

Walter Kingsford was a British stage and film actor who began his career on London's stages before transitioning to Broadway in the early 20th century. He later moved to Hollywood for a prolific supporting role career, specializing in authority figures, and became known for his recurring portrayal of hospital head Dr. P. Walter Carew in the popular Dr. Kildare series. Kingsford also appeared in numerous television shows in the 1950s.
