Stuart Erwin

Biography

Stuart Erwin was a talented American actor who began his career in college, first on stage and later transitioning to film in the late 1920s. He co-starred with notable actors including Bing Crosby and Clark Gable, and won an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Pigskin Parade. In the 1950s, Erwin transitioned to television, starring in his own show The Stu Erwin Show alongside his wife June Collyer, before appearing in Disney films such as Son of Flubber and Bambi.
