Biography

Carolyn Purdy-Gordon is an American actress and playwright, best known for her long-standing collaboration with filmmaker Stuart Gordon. The couple met at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where they founded the Organic Theater Company together, producing and directing numerous plays over 50 years, including world premieres of The Warp Trilogy and adaptations of David Mamet's works. Purdy-Gordon also wrote episodes for the TV series E/R.
