From Beyond

From Beyond centers on a pair of scientists attempting to stimulate the pineal gland with a device called the Resonator, with the unforeseen result of their perceiving creatures from another dimension. The creatures drag the head scientist, Dr. Crawford Tillinghast (Jeffrey Combs), into their world, returning him as a grotesque shape-shifting monster that preys upon the others at the laboratory. After being treated by psychiatrist Dr. Katherine McMichaels (Barbara Crampton), Crawford, along with Detective Bubba Brownlee (Ken Foree), attempts to destroy the Resonator, which leads to a series of gruesome and terrifying encounters with the monstrous creatures and Crawford's own transformations.
