Biography

A French film producer and activist, Georges de Beauregard was a key figure in the French New Wave movement. He served on the jury at the 18th Berlin International Film Festival in 1968 and received a Special César Award in 1983 for his contributions to French cinema. De Beauregard was also honored with the second-place prize at the FIDMarseille film festival, named in his tribute.
