Biography

Édouard Dermithe was a French actor, painter, and cultural archivist born on January 18, 1925, in Istria, Italy. He caught the attention of Jean Cocteau in 1947, becoming his muse, lover, cinematic star, and later, his legally adopted son. Over time, Dermit evolved into a universal legatee and preserver of Cocteau's artistic heritage through his work on films like "Testament of Orpheus" (1960) and "La villa Santo Sospir" (1952).
