Lothaire Bluteau is a Canadian Québécois actor born in Montreal, Quebec on April 14, 1957. He won the Genie Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his portrayal of Jesus in Denys Arcand's Jesus of Montreal (1989), and was also nominated for The Confessional (1995). Bluteau has appeared in various notable roles, including Marcus Alvers on 24 and Charles de Marillac on The Tudors. He is fluent in both French and English.
