Vida Ghahremani

Biography

Vida Ghahremani was a Iranian-born American film and stage actress, writer, and educator born on June 12, 1936, in Tehran. She began acting at 16, gaining notoriety for the first romantic kiss portrayed in Iranian cinema. In the 1960s, she opened Cafe Kuchini with her husband, which became a source of inspiration for her later work.
