Biography

Guy Madison was a handsome American leading man who rose to fame after being spotted at a Lux Radio Theatre broadcast and signed by David O. Selznick in 1944. He played Wild Bill Hickok in the TV series Adventures of Wild Bill Hickok from 1951 to 1958, earning a special Golden Globe Award in 1954 and two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1960. Madison worked in westerns, Italian westerns, and German adventure films, before struggling with work scarcity in later years.
