The Last Frontier

In the midst of the American Civil War, a trio of mountain men stumble upon an isolated army base at the edge of the frontier, where they become scouts for a beleaguered cavalry captain. The fort is under siege by a hated colonel's wife, who has lost her own husband to a Sioux led by the fearsome Chief Red Cloud. As tensions rise and allegiances are tested, Jed Cooper, Gus, and Mungo must navigate their new roles as soldiers amidst the turmoil of war, loyalty, and personal desire.
