Marie Madeleine Berthe Lebeau was a French actress who fled Paris with her husband Marcel Dalio in 1940 ahead of the German invasion. They traversed various countries, obtaining visas and passports to eventually settle in the United States, where she made her Hollywood debut in Hold Back the Dawn (1941). LeBeau went on to appear in notable films including "Casablanca" (1942) and "Gentleman Jim" (1942), showcasing her talent as a French actress.
