Taina Elg was a Finnish-American actress and dancer born in Helsinki on March 9, 1930. She won two Golden Globe Awards for her performances in Les Girls (1957) and tied with co-star Kay Kendall for Best Motion Picture Actress - Musical/Comedy in 1958. In the 1970s, she was nominated for a Tony Award for her stage work, including an original Broadway production of Nine.
