The 39 Steps

In London, diplomat Richard Hannay (Kenneth More) becomes embroiled in a murder and espionage mystery when he encounters a nanny who is killed by hitmen. As he tries to clear his name, Hannay teams up with Miss Fisher (Taina Elg), a spy working for British Intelligence, to track down the elusive leader of a group known as "The Thirty-Nine Steps", who possess top-secret plans for a British ballistic missile project.
